People spend thousands and thousands of dollars not only to buy a car, but also to keep a car in tiptop condition. People love their cars so much that they even give them names. There are some really famous names for cars such as: Knight Rider, Herbie, and “General Lee” from the Dukes of Hazard. People generally name their cars something that they like or one of their favorite things. Some people even believe that their cars may have a personality. It is true that a car can feel a lot more like a pet than an actual inanimate object, and that is why people love to name their cars.
